Elevate Your Makeup Game: 80 Tips for Natural Elegance and Beauty Mastery

For makeup beginners, a common misconception is purchasing a plethora of products but still struggling to achieve a natural, translucent, and sophisticated everyday look.

How to apply makeup to enhance beauty, achieve finesse, and experience a visual transformation? Today, our editor shares ’80 Makeup Tips’ to elevate your makeup skills to the next level. Take it slow, and let’s learn together, sisters!

In the rush of the morning, you can skip foundation and opt for sunscreen and primer. Set with loose powder or compact powder for excellent setting, brightening, and smoothing effects, achieving a natural, no-makeup look.

For dry skin, liquid foundation is more suitable than powder. Setting spray works better than loose powder, providing hydration without compromising the makeup.

For oily skin, apply a thin layer of loose powder with a brush before foundation. After applying foundation, press with a makeup sponge dipped in a generous amount of loose powder on oil-prone areas. After 10 minutes, use a brush to sweep off the excess powder for a long-lasting, non-cakey look.

For enlarged pores, use a pore-filling primer with a ‘blurring’ effect.

After applying foundation, use a small, rounded makeup brush to circularly buff the foundation into larger pore areas. Apply a bit more pressure during brushing to press the foundation into the pores, achieving a similar effect to airbrushing that a beauty sponge may not provide.

Choose a foundation shade that matches your neck color. If there’s a noticeable color difference between your face and neck, you can apply a tinted moisturizer to your neck. If you’ve purchased the wrong shade, use a lighter one for brightening in the center of the face and a darker one for contouring around the perimeter.

For creamy makeup products like foundation sticks, if they are too dry, use a hairdryer to warm them up before application.
